Tokyo Paralympics: Indian archer Harvinder Singh wins bronze

Tokyo: Indian archer Harvinder Singh created history as he won the bronze medal for India in the Tokyo Paralympics event on Friday.

He became the first Indian to win a medal in para archery.

He clinched the bronze medal in the Men's Individual Recurve  event.

Indian PM Narendra Modi wished him and tweeted: "Outstanding performance by@ArcherHarvinder . He displayed great skill and determination, resulting in his medal victory. Congratulations to him for winning a historic Bronze medal. Proud of him. Wishing him the very best for the times ahead. #Paralympics #Praise4Para."
