Sunil Chhetri scores 50th international goal
Guam, June 16 (IBNS) Sunil Chhetri on Tuesday became the first Indian footballer to score 50 international goals during the national side's clash against Guam.
India lost the clash against the Guam 2-1 but the match will be remembered for Chhetri's record.
Bhaichung Bhutia stays at the second spot with 42 goals in 107 matches while IM Vijayan has 40 goals from 79 matches.
This was Chhetri’s 87th match.
