Selection trials for U-17 World Cup

Mumbai, June 5 (IBNS): Selection trials for scouting talent for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup - India 2017, will be conducted for players from Mumbai, Thane and Raigad District at the Cooperage ground from June 9 to 11, 2015. The trials will be supervised by AIFF appointed scouts.

Players born in 2000 are eligible to attend the trials which will be conducted on all 3 days from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Players desiring to attend the trails will have to register with WIFA.

The registration forms are available on the website www.wifa.in. Each player has to produce his original documents as age proof, Passport or Birth Certificate, and a photograph at the time of registration. The registration forms will also be available at the venue starting June 6.

Trials will also be conducted in other regions of Maharashtra, the details of which will be announced shortly.

“This is a great opportunity for the boys to get involved with the prestigious tournament. Our aim is to give equal opportunity to all players interested to participate in the trials,” said Souter Vaz, Hon. Secretary, WIFA.
