Second Test: Another day wasted, play called off

Bengaluru, Nov 17 (IBNS) The wait continued and another day went in vain as play was officially called off on day four of the second Test match between India and South Africa, here on Tuesday.

For three days on the trot rains hampered the match as not a single delivery was bowled after play concluded on the first day, giving India a lead in the match.

The hosts are still at 80 for the loss of no wicket after bowling out the Proteas for 214 in their first innings.

Confirming the news, BCCI tweeted: "The play has been officially called off. Another day lost to rain. If weather permits, tomorrow the play will start at 9:15 AM. #IndvsSA."
