Sania-Martina to play Brisbane International Tennis tournament final today

Brisbane, Jan 9 (IBNS): Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza and her Swiss doubles partner Martina Hingis will face German wild card pairing of Angelique Kerber and Andrea Petkovic in the final of the Brisbane International Tennis tournament on Saturday.

Sania and Hingis defeated Slovak-Russian combination of Andreja Klepac and Alla Kudryavtseva 6-3, 7-5 in the semi-final to reach the final of the tournament.

Sania tweeted: "It's not a secret Finals in Brisbane tonight .. Who's coming?? #SanTina #Santastic @mhingis."

The duo had clinched five titles last season.

A win in the final will ensure their 26th victory in a row.
