Royal Challengers Bangalore stun Mumbai Indians to reach WPL final

Delhi/IBNS: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pulled off a stunning victory over Mumbai Indians to reach the Women's Premier League (WPL) final.

Though Smriti Mandhana's women were in no position to even threaten Mumbai, RCB pulled off a victory of 5 runs at the end in the eliminator.

Batting first, RCB managed to score only 135/6 in 20 overs, courtesy Ellyse Perry's 66 off 50 balls.

In reply, MI ended up at 130/5 in 20 overs, failing to breach the RCB total.

MI skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Amelia Kerr made significant contributions with their bats, scoring 33 and 27 respectively, but all that were much less than the effort to reach the final.

RCB will now take on Meg Lanning's Delhi Capitals in the final clash on Sunday.
