Jaipur: Indian team under the leadership of new skipper Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid have started preparing in Jaipur for the upcoming T20 International clash against New Zealand.

The  Board of Control for Cricket in India shared several images of the practice session on Twitter where the new skipper and coach could be seen taking charge of the squad.

Rohit Sharma took charge of the team after Virat Kohli decided to quit as skipper of the T20 squad after the recently concluded T20 World Cup in the UAE.

India failed to qualify to the last-four stage of the tournament and exited from the group stage, leaving millions of fans shattered.

Sharing images of the practice session, BCCI tweeted: "Energies were high yesterday on Day 1 at the office for #TeamIndia T20I captain
@ImRo45 & Head Coach Rahul Dravid."

Rahul Dravid also replaced coach Ravi Shastri whose last assignment with the team was the T20 World Cup.
