Mumbai, April 22 (IBNS) Royal Challengers Bangalore have called up South African Chinaman bowler Tabraiz Shamsi to replace the injured West Indies leg-spinner Samuel Badree for the remainder of the VIVO IPL 2016.
Shamsi will be available for selection for RCB subject to the completion of contractual paperwork formalities.

Johannesburg-born Tabraiz was in the news after some impressive performances at the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) where he was the leading wicket-taker for his franchise with 11 wickets at an average of 13.27.

Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chairman, Amrit Thomas said: “RCB is pleased to have signed in SA's left arm chinaman bowler Tabraiz Shamsi for injured Badree. He is highly skillful with a lot of variations, and has had success in SA's domestic cricket as well as in the CPL this year. While we will miss Samuel Badree, we are excited about the variety that Shamsi brings to our bowling attack.
