Politicians congratulate Team India

New Delhi, Mar 19 (IBNS) Indian politicians joined to congratulate the national cricket team as they defeated Bangladesh to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup on Thursday.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted: "Excellent game, excellent performance! Congrats yet again Team India."

Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh congratulated the Indian team and said :"Congratulating Indian Men's Cricket Team for advancing to Semi Final, hope your victorious run continue.I also congratulate @msdhoni on his 100th win as an ODI captain with many more to come. #CWC15."

BJP President Amit Shah tweeted: "Congratulations Team India, @msdhoni & @ImRo45 for beating Bangladesh comprehensively & reaching WC Semi Finals."

Madhya Pradesh CM ShivrajSingh Chouhan said: "Brilliant display of Team effort by India. Congratulations on the quarter final win. Great captaincy by @msdhoni with now 100 ODI wins."

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said: "Two more matches to win. Congratulations India. Well played Bangladesh."

The Congress party tweeted: "We congratulate Team India for beating Bangladesh by 109 runs today and booking a place in the Semi Finals! #IndVsBan."
