PM congratulates Team India
New Delhi, Mar 10 (IBNS): Indian prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Indian team for winning against Ireland by eight wickets in a World Cup match.
"Superb all-round performance. Congrats Team India! Keep up the momentum," Modi tweeted.
Shikhar Dhawan hit his second century in the World Cup as India defeated Ireland by eight wickets to register their fifth straight win in the 50-over mega event.
Bowling out Ireland for 259 runs, Indian batsmen reached the target of 260 runs by losing two wickets with 79 balls to spare.
