Pakistan-born spinner named in Australian Test squad

Sydney, Mar 31 (IBNS) Australia selectors have named Pakistan-born spinner Fawad Ahmed in the Test squad for the upcoming West Indies and the Ashes this year.

Ahmed, who was granted Australian citizenship in 2013, has been named as the second spinner in the side.

Adam Voges has got a Test call-up for his strong performance in the domestic tournaments.

 
Michael Clarke, who guided his side to the fifth World Cup victory on Sunday, has been named as the skipper of Australia.
 
He has quit ODI.
