Mumbai: IPL team Mumbai Indians picked up Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar for Rs 30 lakh during the ongoing auction for Indian Premier League 2022.

Mumbai Indians tweeted: "Arjun is ready to don the Blue and Gold threads again!"

"A hearty welcome to you, Arjun Tendulkar," the franchise said.

He was bought by the side during the final moments of the auction.

Mumbai Indians is one of the most successful teams in IPL history.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is the leader of the squad.
