India's cricket icon Mahendra Singh Dhoni, wife Sakshi cast their votes

Ranchi, May 6 (UNI) Former Team India Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni alongwith his wife Sakshi today turned up to cast their vote for polls which are currently being held on four Lok Sabha seats of the state including Ranchi.

Dhoni alongwith his wife Sakshi and his parents reached at his polling booth located at JVM Shayamali School and cast his vote. On his way to the polling booth, Dhoni was carrying his daughter Ziva in the arms.

After voting 'Mahi' as popularly known among the people of Ranchi drove back in his Mercedes to Simalia where his family is presently staying. However, Dhoni did not speak to the media but that did not prevent the large number of people to catch a glimpse of him and click photographs at the venue.

Earlier, the captain for the Chennai Super Kings arrived by a special chartered flight from Chennai and drove straight to his home and later came to the booth with his family to cast the vote.
