India loses by 9 wickets to England in Tri-series ODI

Brisbane, Jan 20 (IBNS) India suffered a crushing defeat in the 3rd ODI of the Tri-nation series at Gabba on Tuesday losing to England by 9 wickets.

An unbroken 131 run second wicket stand between Ian Bell and James Taylor of England helped England to successfully chase the target of 154 runs as Stuart Binny was the bowler to pick up the only wicket for India.

"We lose wickets when we accelerate. The batsmen are finding it tough here. We need to rotate the strike when the bowling is good but we haven't done that. It's a long tour, so we need to switch on and off. Time in the hotel is important too," Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said.
