India A take 154 runs lead against Australia A at stumps
India A took a 33-run first-innings lead against Australia A as the visitors were bowled out for 268 runs in reply to the hosts 301 runs earlier.
Peter Handscomb remained the top scorer for the Australian side with his 91 runs where he hammered seven boundaries.
Marcus Stoinis contributed 77 runs with his willow.
India took the lead and it was mostly Pragyan Ojha's brilliant bowling as he took five wickets by giving away 85 runs which helped in bowling out the visitors.
India lost an early wicket of Lokesh Rahul (29) as the scorecard read 1-39.
Abhinav Mukund (40) and Cheteshwar Pujara (42) played crucial knocks but it was Gurinder Sandhu who dismissed both the batsmen late in the day to bring back his side in the match.
Karun Nair (4*) and Shreyas Iyer are currently at the crease and will resume the proceedings on Saturday as India A finished the day at 121 for three.
