Kolkata, Mar 20 (IBNS): Former Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar and several other sports personalities congratulated India after they defeated Pakistan in an ICC Word T20 match here.

"Great Win Team India. Thank you for the innings and gesture @imVkohli! #IndvsPak,"  Tendulkar tweeted.

"Team India returning to the dressing room after the game, waved to me. Felt like I never left the team...#IndvsPak," he said as he cheered the Indian side in their crucial match against neighbouring nation.

Former Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath said: "India keeps their record going in World Cups & WT20s against Pakistan. @imVkohli made it look easy #WT20."

Former Indian bowler Zaheer Khan tweeted: "Great win #India. Brilliant partnership @imVkohli and @YUVSTRONG12. #OnToTheNextOne #WT20 #TeamIndia."
