Melbourne, Mar 19 (IBNS): Indian skipper MS Dhoni clinched the 100th ODI win of his career as his side defeated Bangladesh in the quater-final match of the World Cup here on Thursday.

He became the first Indian skipper to reach the milestone.

Australian icons Ricky Ponting (165) and Allan Border (107) are the two skippers who have won more ODI games than the Ranchi lad.

"It has been good, we can't shy away from the fact that we are playing some good cricket. But at the same time a month back we were struggling," Dhoni said after the match against Bangladesh.

India defeated Bangladesh to reach the semi-final of the tournament.

India are the current world champions.
