Cycle Pure Agarbathies flags off 'Pray for India’ campaign

Kolkata, Mar 16 (IBNS): Strengthening its long-standing association with the game of cricket, incense stick manufacturer Cycle Pure Agarbathies has organized its "Pray for India" campaign in Kolkata.

“Pray for India” by Cycle Pure Agarbathies is a unique initiative for ardent cricket lovers across the country to pray for the win of Indian cricket team at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.

In Kolkata the campaign flagged off from two different locations, covering both south and north of the city including Ballygunge, Gariahat, Behala, Thakur Pukur, Budge Budge  and Muraripukur, Laketown, Baguiati, Madhyamgram, Barasat to Brrackpore. A 6-ft Mega Akhand Agarbathi was lit among great fanfare by the cricket fans present at the location.

The campaign also features a mobile prayer van carrying the Mega Akhand Agarbathi by Cycle Pure Agarbathies that would move around the city urging and collecting wishes and prayers from the fans towards the nation’s win.

Apart from Kolkata, the campaign is being rolled out in 79 cities across the country.

Elaborating on the campaign, Arjun Ranga, Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies said, “Cricket is a religion in India. It is the spirit of the youth and we would like to be associated with all such true emotions. We also believe in supporting and providing reasons to pray, and what could be better than praying for India’s win.”
