Chennai Test: England bowl out India for 337, Washington Sundar scores unbeaten 85

Chennai/IBNS: Washington Sundar once again stunned the cricket fans with his knock of unbeaten 85 as India scored 337 in the first innings in reply to England's mammoth 578-run total in the inaugural Test at MA Chidambaram Stadium here on Monday.

Sundar remained unbeaten at 85 surviving 138 balls.

He was supported by all rounder Ravichandran Ashwin who scored 31.

But the top scorer for India remained young Rishabh Pant who scored 91 on Sunday. He was supported by Chesteshwar Pujara with his 73.

Dom Bess, who had scalped the wickets of both Pant and Pujara, registered the best bowling figure for England with his 4/76.
