BWF observes 81st anniversary

Kuala Lumpur, July 5 (IBNS): The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is celebrating its 81st anniversary on Sunday.

The organisation was initially known as International Badminton Federation (IBF).

Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales were its initial members.

The badminton body is now comprised of 182 members.
