Australian Open: Serena reach semis

Melbourne, Jan 28 (IBNS): American Tennis icon Serena Williams stormed to the semi-finals of the Australian Open women's singles event by beating Dominika Cibulkova here.

The American beat Dominika Cibulkova  6-2 6-2.

She will face Madison Keys in the semi-finals. Keys defeated Serena's elder sister Venus Williams 6-3 4-6 6-4 in an one hour and 54 minutes clash.

On the other hand, Stan Wawrinka beat Kei Nishikori 6-3 6-4 7-6 (8-6) to reach the semi-finals.
