Afghanistan stun West Indies, beat former champions by 6 runs

Nagpur, Mar 27 (IBNS) Afghanistan created a major upset in the ICC World T20 series by beating West Indies by 6 runs here on Sunday.

Putting up 123 runs for the loss of seven wickets on the scorecard, Afghanistan bowlers restricted West Indies at 117 for the loss of eight wickets.

Dwayne Bravo top scored 28 runs for West Indies.

The West Indian batting completely suffered in front of the Afghanistan attack.

Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan took two wickets for Afghanistan and bowled tight to make things tough for the former champions.

Najibullah Zadran remained unbeaten at 48 for Afghanistan.

He hammered four boundaries and a six.
