AF Station Barrackpore conducts mini marathon for Independence Day

Kolkata, Aug 14 (IBNS):  As part of Independence Day celebrations 2019, AF Stn Barrackpore conducted a mini marathon under the theme ‘Know Your Forces’ on Tuesday.

Station Commander Group Captain KK Gurao flagged off the run.

The event was open for all personnel and families of the station. Students from Air Force School & Kendriya Vidyalaya Barrackpore and other nearby educational institutions also participated in the event.

The Station Commander gave away mementos to the winners. He emphasised upon the importance of sports and adventure in our life and urged all the participants to continue with the same zeal and enthusiasm in time to come.
