Simmba cruises towards Rs. 50 crore mark

Mumbai, Dec 30 (IBNS): Actor Ranveer Singh's latest released movie Simmba is marching fast towards the Rs. 50 crore mark.

It has collected Rs. 44 crore so far at the Box Office.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: " #Simmba roars on Day 2... While Mumbai circuit is exceptional, the other circuits that were slightly low on Day 1 have also picked up... Growth on Day 2 [vis-à-vis Day 1]: 12.60%... Expected to score big numbers today... Fri 20.72 cr, Sat 23.33 cr. Total: ₹ 44.05 cr. India biz."

The movie released on Friday.

It is the second major release of Ranveer this year after Padmaavat.

Simmba features Sara Ali Khan, actor Saif Ali Khan's daughter, opposite Ranveer.
