Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh welcome second baby girl; Dua becomes big sister
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh on Saturday welcomed their second child, a baby girl.
The couple announced the arrival through a joint Instagram post featuring a baby’s footprint and the message, “Welcome Baby Girl,” along with the date September 19, 2026.
Their elder daughter Dua is now a big sister.

Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their first child, daughter Dua, in September 2024.
The couple had announced their second pregnancy in April this year, sharing a picture featuring Dua and a positive pregnancy test.
Earlier this week, Deepika and Ranveer visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings ahead of the baby’s arrival.
They were accompanied by Ranveer’s parents during the visit.
Deepika and Ranveer’s love story
Deepika and Ranveer’s relationship dates back to 2013, when they met on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.
After dating for several years, the couple reportedly got secretly engaged in 2015.
They tied the knot in November 2018 in a private destination wedding at Lake Como, Italy.

Work front
On the work front, Deepika Padukone is set to star alongside Shah Rukh Khan in King, directed by Siddharth Anand.
She is also part of Atlee’s upcoming science-fiction film Raaka, which stars Allu Arjun.
Ranveer Singh, meanwhile, was recently seen in Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
He is also associated with Pralay, an upcoming post-apocalyptic thriller that is currently in production.
