Mumbai, June 2 (IBNS): Bollywood star Salman Khan on Monday wished PM Narendra Modi and his  'splendid team' in their endeavours to make a 'stronger and equal India'.

"Honourable Prime Minister, congratulations on a splendid team and all my best wishes to the entire cabinet in their endeavours to make a stronger and equal India. @PMOIndia," Khan tweeted.

Narendra Modi took oath as the PM of India for a second term on Thursday.

Under his leadership, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA scripted a massive victory in the Lok Sabha polls this year.

In 2014, Modi had taken charge as the PM for the first time after winning the general polls.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan's latest Eid release Bharat will hit the theatre on June 5.
