PM Narendra Modi's biopic gets new release date

Mumbai, Mar 19 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi's biopic, which stars actor Vivek Oberoi, has got a new release date.

Film PM Narendra Modi will now release on Apr 5 instead of 12th of the same month.

Oberoi, who is in the film industry for a long time, will essay Modi's character.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted the second poster of the biopic saying, "New release date... #PMNarendraModi will arrive one week *earlier*: 5 April 2019... And here's the second poster of the biopic... Stars Vivek Anand Oberoi in the title role... Directed by Omung Kumar B... Produced by Sandip Ssingh, Suresh Oberoi, Anand Pandit and Acharya Manish."

The biopic will release six days ahead of the commencement of 17th Lok Sabha elections.

The polls, which will decide whether Modi will become the Prime Minister for the second time, is scheduled to end on May 19.
