Deeply saddened by the unrest across various educational institutions: Hrithik Roshan

Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan on Wednesday expressed his sadness over the ongoing unrest occurring in several educational institutions across India.

Roshan said he is hoping that peace returns soon.

" As a parent and a citizen of india , I am deeply saddened by the unrest across various educational institutions of our country. I hope and pray for peace to return as soon as possible. Great teachers learn from their students. I salute the worlds youngest democracy," Roshan tweeted.

Violent protests have been reported from different educational institutions corners of the country over the news citizenship law passed by the PM Narendra Modi-led Indian government last week.

Hrithik Roshan played the character of a teacher in Super 30 movie which released earlier this year.
