Kolkata/IBNS: The cast and crew of upcoming Bengali film C/O A Journey, directed by Pratik Sarkar, attended a meet-and-greet with the audience on Friday as part of the film’s promotional activities ahead of its release.

The event was attended by the first time on-screen pair, lead actors Bonny Sengupta and Darshana Banik, along with child actor Trishanjit Chowdhury, whose character forms the film’s narrative on intergenerational friendship.

Actor Bonny Sengupta said, "I can say that the film is a very simple, beautiful and sweet story. It's only for adults or only for children, I think it is a movie that everyone can watch and they'll enjoy watching it. There are a lot of emotions, romance, drama, and everything."

Actor Sudip Mukherjee, director Pratik Sarkar and other members of the team were also present.

Actress Darshana Banik said, "I think there are a lot of different flavors, both of the village and the city in this film. My and Bonny's character is also different. I think it's almost predicted from the teaser, what character I am playing. It's a very different and dignified character, and Bonny's character also has some surprises."

The promotional event also featured a special presentation of the film’s teaser, with an aerial drone used to showcase it to the gathering. The presentation drew cheers from the audience and added to the promotional activities surrounding the film.

"It's a beautiful journey. I'm doing a small role and the voice in the teaser which is given as a storyline, is my voice. Watch the film and give us your feedback. Only then can an industry grow," actor Sudip Mukherjee added.

The cast interacted with the audience during the event and posed for selfies and photographs.

The gathering also saw the audience applauding the team as the film continued its promotional campaign ahead of its release.
