The makers of the upcoming Eken Babu film have unveiled its teaser, promising a bigger, crazier and more adventurous case for the popular detective.
A top-secret mission, a deadly mystery and a trip to Kerala form the backdrop of the new adventure. However, when things begin to go wrong, Eken Babu finds himself pulled into a case filled with danger, sharp deductions, outrageous comedy and unexpected twists.
Anirban Chakrabarti returns as the much-loved detective Eken Babu, with Suhotra Mukhopadhyay as Bapi and Somak Ghosh as Pramatha. The trio has become synonymous with the recent big-screen adventures of the Bengali detective.
The Kerala setting marks a fresh backdrop for Eken Babu, who has previously travelled to different locations while solving mysterious cases. The teaser suggests that the latest investigation could be among the most challenging — and entertaining — cases he has faced so far.
The makers have kept much of the mystery under wraps, leaving audiences with several questions. What is the top-secret mission? What deadly mystery awaits Eken Babu in Kerala? And can the detective crack the case before it is too late?
Directed by Joydip Mukherjee, the film promises to combine the franchise’s trademark humour with a suspenseful detective narrative.
