Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu‏ remember their movie Pink as it completes one year of release

Mumbai, Sept 16 (IBNS): One year has passed since Amitabh Bachchan's Pink hit the silverscreen across India and impressed movie lovers with the hard hitting message it wanted to convey.

The movie made a successful run at the Box Office.

And after one year, actors-Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu‏-remembered the movie and posted special messages on their Twitter handles.

Bachchan posted an image with the members of the Pink movie family and wrote: "T 2549 - The team of 'PINK' .. all in one frame .. and .. ALL, independent, individual .. NATIONAL AWARD WINNERS !!."

Pannu said Sept 16 will always be remembered by her as Pink Day.

The movie had released on the same date.

"One year since the BIG CHANGE. Shall always be #PinkDay for me for the rest of my life 16 September !," she posted.

The film was directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.

It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Angad Bedi, Andrea Tariang, Piyush Mishra, and Dhritiman Chatterjee.

The film received universal critical acclaim, and garnered the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues.
