Visakhapatnam, Oct 23 (IBNS): In yet another shocking incident, a woman was raped on a busy street of Vizag in Andhra Pradesh under broad daylight on Monday, receiving no help from the passerby, media reports said.

One of the witnesses, an auto driver, recorded the entire incident on his mobile phone and later handed over to the police.

The rapist, who has been arrested, was identified as Ganji Siva.

The 21-year old rapist was fully drunk while he was raping the woman.

The woman was sitting on one side of the footpath near the railway colony when Siva forced himself on her.

Police officer Madhusudanamurthy told media: "The statements given by both were incoherent and inconsistent."
