Three AAP MLAs, some employees of Delhi Assembly test COVID positive

New Delhi/UNI:  Three Aam Aadmi Party MLAs, a journalist and other employees at the Delhi Assembly were found to be infected with COVID on the day of the Special Assembly session called on Monday.

As per sources, prior to the beginning of the session, there were 180 COVID tests conducted at the government's testing facility at the premises of the Assembly.

One of the MLAs, Parmila Tokas took to twitter informing that she tested positive for COVID-19 prior to the session, but is completely all right and has no symptoms, however, she has requested everyone who came in her contact to get themselves tested and isolate themselves at home.

All the safety protocols were strictly observed at the Assembly premises in view of preventing the virus spread and safety of the people.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has also tested positive for COVID 19 after he got himself checked witnessing symptoms.

He said that he got himself tested after having mild fever, however, he is all right for now and there are no symptoms and had self isolated himself.
