Sheena Bora murder accused Indrani Mukerjea admitted to hospital in delirious condition

Mumbai, Apr 7 (IBNS) : Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in  the murder of her daughter Sheena Bora, was rushed to a hospital from jail late on Friday, after her health condition deteriorated, media reports said.

Indrani, who was lodged in Byculla jail, was admitted to J J Hospital reportedly in a delirious condition after she fell unconscious.

The reports said a  team of experts from different discipliens is currently examining Indrani Mukherjea to find out how and why she fell unconscious.

Indrani, who is the wife of former media baron Peter Mukerjea, was admitted to JJ hospital also in 2015 on suspicion of drug overdose.

She was  arrested for abduction and murder of her own daughter Sheena on April 24, 2012.  Sheena's body was disposed of on April 25, 2012, at a deserted spot in  Raigad district.

Indrani's husband Peter Mukherjea is also facing trial in the case and is currently lodged at Arthur Road Jail, Mumbai.
