Kolkata/IBNS: In a significant political development in poll-bound West Bengal, the rift between the ruling Trinamool Congress and its rebel leader Suvendu Adhikari has likely narrowed.

The possible breakthrough in the Trinamool infighting has achieved after a meeting between Adhikari and the Trinamool top brass.

Among the Trinamool leaders present in the meeting were veteran Lok Sabha MPs Saugata Roy, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, parliamentarian Abhishek Banerjee and political strategist Prashant Kishor.

"All disputes have been resolved amicably," Roy told IBNS.

Apart from Roy, Trinamool MPs Sudip Bandyopadhyay, Abhishek Banerjee and political strategist Prashant Kishor were present.

Adhikari, who has been holding independent rallies devoid of any Trinamool flag or portrait of his supremo Mamata Banerjee for several weeks, resigned as the West Bengal Transport Minister last Friday, triggering a massive speculation over his political position.
