President Kovind reaches Bengaluru on his maiden visit to Karnataka
Bengaluru, Oct 24 (IBNS): After becoming the President, Ram Nath Kovind made his first visit to Karnataka as he reached Bengaluru on Tuesday.
The President was welcomed by Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah.
Kovind became the President of India in July 2017.
He succeeded Pranab Mukherjee as the President, who assumed his office in 2012.
Kovind was the Bihar governor at the time he was chosen as an NDA candidate for the Presidential election.
