Bengaluru/UNI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) sleuths on Thursday arrested two persons, having alleged links with the Islamic State (IS) organisation in Karnataka.

According to official sources, the arrested have been identified as Nasir Sattar (33) from a resident of Bengaluru and Ahmed Abdul Khader (40) a resident of Ramanathapuram of Tamil Nadu.

Both the arrested were presented before the Magistrate by the enforcement agencies and got into their custody for interrogation.

The arrest resulted following a tip-off provided by Abdul Rahman, who was also arrested by the NIA authorities recently, on the charge of involvement in anti-national activities.

Both the accused had allegedly hatched a conspiracy to carry-out terrorist activities in New Delhi, during anti CAA bill agitation, the sources added.
