Mizo police jawan commits suicide in Assam

Guwahati, Apr 2 (IBNS): A Mizoram police jawan has committed suicide with his service AK-47 rifle at the Borpathar based camp in Assam's Golaghat district on Monday. 

According to the reports, the jawan shot himself with his service rifle at the camp.

After hearing fire shot, other jawans and officers of the camp rushed to the area and immediately admitted the injured jawan at nearest hospital.

However, the doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased jawan has been identified as Lalthing Hima.

The reason for committing suicide is yet to ascertained.
