Madagascar: Grand Hindu Temple Hall inaugurated in Antananarivo amid Navratri celebration

Antananarivo: A grand Hindu temple hall has been inaugurated on the occasion of Navratri in Madagascar capital Antananarivo.

Over 20,000 people of Indian origin have settled in the island located in the Indian Ocean.

A grand Hindu temple is also under construction, which is likely to be completed within 3-4 months. It will be the first Hindu temple in Antananarivo, Madagascar when completed, reports ANI.

The Hindus across the globe are observing Navratri and Durga Puja festival at present.
