Accident on Pune-Satara Highway kills 18
Mumbai, Apr 10 (IBNS): A road mishap on the Pune-Satara Highway has killed at least 18 people on Tuesday, media reports said.
"The accident took place at around 5:30 am near Khambatki ghat when a tempo carrying around 35 workers overturned after hitting a barricade," reported DNA newspaper.
Four women and a child were among those who died in the mishap, media reports said.
Police reached the spot after the mishap.
The injured people were taken to Khandala hospital for treatment.
