Suspected gas attack in Syria kills nine children among 35 dead

Damascus, Apr 4 (IBNS) : Suspected gas attack by Syrian Government or Russian jets has killed at least 35 people, including nine children, The Telegraph reported quoting a British-based war monitoring group.

The attack, carried out by warplanes  in the northwestern province of Idlib on Tuesday, caused many people to choke or faint, the report quoted Syrian Observatory for Human Rights as saying.

The group cited  medical sources who described it as a sign of a gas attack.

The report could not carry a  version of the Syrian Government.

The air strikes also wounded more than 60 people in the town of Khan Sheikhoun in rebel-held Idlib, the Observatory said.
