North Korea test fires another SLBM despite protests

Pyongyang, Aug 24 (IBNS): Despite protests from South Korea and the United States of America, North Korea test fired a Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) in waters off its east coast, offending their neighbours, reports said.

The alleged activity was brought to light by South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff, Yonhap News Agency reported.

The agency quoted the JCS as stating that the activity took place at 5:30 am on Wednesday from waters near the city of Sinpo.
