At least 17 killed in Thailand school dormitory fire

Chiang Rai, Thailand, May 23 (IBNS) At least 17 girl students were killed in a Thailand school dormitory on Sunday evening, as fire devoured the facility, according to reports.

The accident took place at Pithakkiart Witthaya school in Chiang Rai province of the country.

An investigation is on to determine the cause of the fire outbreak.

The deceased were allegedly sleeping when the calamity took place.
