22-year-old Gujarat woman stabbed to death in Canada; accused on the run

Ottawa/IBNS: In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old woman from Gujarat was stabbed to death in Canada’s Niagara region, media reports said.

The victim has been identified as Vidhi Kalpeshbhai Meghani, a resident of Borsad in Gujarat’s Anand district.

Attack took place on May 15

According to reports, Vidhi was killed in a knife attack on May 15. The motive behind the attack is still unclear.

Police launch investigation

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are searching for the accused.

Was living in Canada for four years

Vidhi had been living in Canada for the past four years. She was pursuing her studies while also working part-time.
