When Sachin Tendulkar was reader, not batsman

| @indiablooms | Sep 08, 2017, at 12:42 am
Mumbai, Sep 7 (IBNS): Former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar returned to childhood days when he was a reader of books but too small to become a batsman.

Tendulkar shared a picture on his Twitter handle where he was seen to read a book.

The Indian cricket icon, who holds all sorts of record in the cricket field, said he was not that apt in reading and studying.

"I never was a good scorer in this field ;) #ThrowbackThursday" Tendulkar said in the caption of the picture.

Tendulkar, who was a part of the 2011 World Cup winning team for India, retired from the international cricket in 2013.

The Indian cricket legend is the only batsman to score 100 centuries across all formats of the game.
