Manchester United agree transfer for Victor Lindelof

London, June 11 (IBNS): British football club Manchester United has confirmed that it has reached an agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Victor Lindelof.

The club said in a statement: "Manchester United is pleased to announce that it has reached agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Victor Lindelof, subject to a medical examination, international clearance and personal terms."

It said: "A further announcement will be made once the transfer is complete."

Victor Lindelöf  is a Swedish professional footballer.

Lindelöf has represented Sweden at under-17, under-19, under-21 and senior levels.

He was a member of the under-21 side that won the 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.

He made his senior international debut in March 2016 and represented his country at UEFA Euro 2016.
