London, June 18 (IBNS): Away from cricket, Harmanpreet Singh and forwards Talwinder Singh and Akashdeep Singh scored as India beat arch-rivals Pakistan in Hockey World League Semi-Final clash on Sunday.

India played aggressively as they defeated their opponents 7-1.

Talwinder Singh, Harmanpreet Singh and Akashdeep Singh's double strikes left Pakistan completely destroyed and the neighbours hardly found space to recover in the match.

With the win, India moved to the top of the Pool B.

Mohammad Umar Bhutta scored the only goal for Pakistan to reduce the margin to 7-1.

India got going after Harmanpreet Singh scored the first goal for the Men in Blue.

He netted the ball in the 13th and then in the 33th minute of the game.

Talwinder Singh and Akashdeep Singh added two goals each while Pardeep Mor added one more to give India a memorable victory at the end of a crucial clash between the neighbouring nations.

Indian hockey team registered victory on the same day when India and Pakistan are battling on the field for the Champions Trophy.
