Yami learns horse riding for Sanam Re
“The actor had never learnt horse riding, as she didn’t feel she would ever need the skill. Then, she found out that it was her character’s requirement in this particular project, and she had to pick it up over a short period of time,” said the source.
The source further revealed that "Yami needed to look convincing, and had to practice quite a bit so that she didn’t goof up in front of the camera. “She doesn’t have a long scene, but it was important for her to learn how to control the horse. There was a professional trainer present on the sets to help her out, and Yami picked it up quite fast. The shot was captured smoothly after the actor spent some time learning to ride and getting comfortable with the horse,” says the source.
When contacted, Yami confirms the news, saying, “The horse’s name is Turkey. It was not easy to control him initially. But I befriended him, and then it became much easier.”
Sanam Re is an upcoming Romantic film Directed by Divya Khosla Kumar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and co - produced by Ajay Kapoor.
Sanam Re would showcase the fresh pairing of Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat to the audiences.
The film is set to release on Feb 12, 2016.
