Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stuns at Paris Fashion Week in black velvet gown, fiery red hair and regal crown
Paris/IBNS: Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned heads at Paris Fashion Week as she walked the runway with regal charm for L’Oréal Paris’ Le Défilé 2026 on Monday.
Held at Place Joffre against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, the ninth edition of the fashion showcase was themed “Express Your Worth” and brought together several international celebrities and L’Oréal Paris ambassadors.
Aishwarya's dramatic Paris look
Aishwarya made a striking appearance in a dramatic black velvet couture ensemble from Syrian designer Yara Shoemaker’s Fall/Winter 2026-27 collection.
The outfit featured sculptural detailing and three-dimensional fringe embroidery, paired with a crystal-embellished cape that added a regal touch to the look.

She completed the ensemble with a sparkling crown-like headpiece, jewellery and a bold red lip.
However, it was her new burgundy-red hair that particularly caught attention.
The striking hair colour created a dramatic contrast with her all-black outfit and gave her runway appearance a distinctly different edge.
A star-studded runway
Aishwarya shared the spotlight with several prominent names from the global entertainment and fashion industries, including Kendall Jenner, Simone Ashley, Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda and Celine Dion.
The actor has been associated with L’Oréal Paris for years and continues to be a regular presence at the brand’s Paris Fashion Week showcase.
Her latest appearance quickly drew attention online, with photographs and videos from the runway circulating widely across social media.
