Vidya Malvade sets fitness goal for her fans with yoga video

Mumbai: Actress Vidya Malvade is setting the internet on fire and giving fitness challenges to her fans by posting her videos on Instagram where she could be seen performing yoga.

Sharing video of her yoga performance, she wrote on Instagram: "You are as young as your Spine - the Yogis say !Here’s something to do, to keep it that way !"

"The Spine has a Physical aspect & a Spiritual aspect attached to it ..Physically it’s important to keep it supple yet strong," she wrote.

"Spiritually it has the 7 chakras & 72,000 Nadi’s running alongside .. In fact the Central Sushumna Nadi runs along the centre of the spine & the Ida & Pingala nadi’s denoting the feminine & masculine personas run on either sides of the spine," Malvade wrote.

"Cleansing of these Nadis & Chakras are the essence of ones balance , life energy - prana , dis-ease & so on ...Beautiful at any age , Fit at every age," the actress said.

The actress is best remembered for her performance in the movie Chak De! India.

The hockey-based movie featured Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
